Three individuals have been executed and a few injured in two blasts in the Kenyan waterfront city of Mombasa, police say.

In the deadliest strike, an explosive was allegedly tossed in a transport that had quite recently landed from Nairobi.

The other impact happened at a bar close to an inn in the Nyali shore zone. There are no reports of losses there.

Kenya has been hit by a spate of assaults faulted by the administration for Somali Islamist activists.

The al-Qaeda-connected gathering al-Shabab has completed a few strike in Kenya since 2011, when Kenya sent troops into Somalia to fight it.

Third assault?
