Australia has raised its terrorism danger level from medium to high, Prime Minister Tony Abbott has advertised.
The move comes in light of developing concern over the local effect of aggressor clashes in Iraq and Syria.
Security authorities were concerned by the developing number of Australians "working with, associated with or propelled by" Islamist bunches, Mr Abbott said.
