(CNN) - A Fedex truck crossed an average and pummeled head-on into a transport convey understudies in Northern California, killing 10 individuals, powers said Friday.

The crash Thursday night killed both drivers, five scholars and three chaperones, said Lt. Bill Carpenter with the California Highway Patrol.
