Syria emergency: "Torment" photographs indicated to UN Security Council

Realistic photos of detainees supposedly tormented by Syrian government powers have been indicated to parts of the UN Security Council.

The pictures, allegedly carried out by a defector, seem to show proof of misuse, including beatings, strangulation and long haul starvation.

The photographs were initially discharged in January in a report authorized by Qatar, which backs Syria's resistance.

The Syrian government has rejected the report, saying it has no soundness.

The gathering was called by France, which needs the International Criminal Court (ICC) to explore law violations against humankind.

President Bashar al-Assad's principle associate, Russia, has the ability to veto that.
